World Cancer Day - 4th February

Mick from Winyates had cancer & has seen NHS waiting times increase.

Early diagnosis for cancer saves lives.  Next to preventative measures to try and ward off cancers it's the next best thing.  Early diagnosis is also one of the ways we keep the NHS sustainable.

I meet too many people who are waiting weeks for GP appointments, who wait too long for tests and in our area people are waiting longer for treatment too.

A Labour government will guarantee a cancer test within one week, along with improved cancer screening to help early diagnosis.  I want the best cancer survival rates in Europe, which could save 10,000 lives a year.
