Labour retain control of Redditch Council

redditch_wins_council.pngOn Thursday 5th May Redditch Labour Party were successful in defending 7 seats and retaining control of the council.

Bill Hartnett, the Leader of the Council, had this to say on the Redditch Borough Council Elections.

“They said it couldn’t be done and that Labour were going to lose and we had a majority of just one. This was a victory for our proud record and our future programme and I thank Redditch whole heartedly for putting its faith in Labour.”
